Apple In Ear Headphones Review

Apple’s strategy of selling more at a better price seems to work. These in ear headphones offer superior sound quality when compared to the headphones that accompany any iPod you would buy. The snug fit of these headphones is good but not very comfortable. Moreover, they seem to not withstand any kind of movement.

Apple  In Ear headphones seem to provide a basic feel of what music should be. The bass line is not too heavy but ranges average. Hip-hop or any RnB numbers do not sound as hard hitting as they possibly could. Alongside all of that, the best way to wear these headphones is to fit them upside down that is to let the cable go above your ear and then enter your ear. This provides the best fit and thus, the best sound possible – at least by the standards of Apple’s headphones.

At the price they come for, they offer a fairly satisfactory performance. However, there are headphones in the same range that do offer similar if not better quality but then such is the case with most headphones and their companies anywhere in the world today.

In terms of looks, however, Apple as usual cannot be beaten. The sleek white look is now a patent of Apple. The headphones come in an even sleeker semi-transparent plastic bag, which lends appeal to the headphones, to say the least.

A 42-inch long cable provides ample room to the listener. It is not too close to handle nor too far away too. However, as is with most Apple products, dust gathers way too soon. It is difficult to maintain the white ‘sleek’ look that Apple offers you until and unless you keep that headphone stored away in its even cooler plastic bag (when not in use of course).

A standard minijack (1/8 of an inch) makes it possible to use these with almost anything you would like to. However, there is one problem with the design offered by the people at Apple. The left and right symbol on both the ears of the headphones seemingly cannot be deciphered if there is not ample enough of light falling on it or on the contrary if there is too much light falling on it. In bright sunlight, the white dazzles too much, and the left and the right are nearly undecipherable. While in dingy places where there is low lighting, the symbols just become incomprehensible.

The only major hassle with these pair is that even though they claim to be an In Ear type, they hardly stay in ear for more than 5 minutes until and unless you are the one who stays way too stationary to care. So obviously, no jogger should at any point of time try and even think about buying it.

Otherwise, there is no major flaw that can be pointed out. At the price at which it comes, there is possibly not any thing more they could offer.
