Canon EOS 30D Review

The canon EOS 30D is a digital single-lens reflex camera. It is an upgraded version of EOS 20D. EOS 30D is compatible with almost all the canon’s lenses. It has 2.5–inches wide screen with high-resolution, digital noise reduction and auto power saver. The canon EOS 30D has 8 mega-pixel CMOS sensor to enhance the photo quality in worst condition. You get electronic image stabilizer to get blur free images. Canon EOS 30D has used award winning CMOS sensor. That is an assurance that your picture quality is outstanding. Processing of images is done within few seconds that’s because of the DIGIC II image processor. A 9-point focus is embedded so as to ensure the sharp focus on the targeted object. The canon EOS 30D is in black color. It weighs 5 pounds with lens and without lens it weighs just 4 pound. Compare to other upgraded version this digital camera is light in weight. Its design is improved than EOS 20D and has an extra grip.

Sensor, speed and sharp focus:

The EOS 30D has award winning large size CMOS sensor. It ensures the finest quality image in any condition of the light. Sensor reduces noise in an image and provides high-definition snap-shot. Ghost-effect and blurry images is also reduced by low pass filter placed in front of the sensor. It has 9-point AF area. It captures an image with great clarity and delivers a sharp focused image

Picture mode:

EOS 30D digital camera has six different picture mode. They are

1. Standard: For those images which do not need any processing whenever clicked. Once setting is all set, it can take crystal clear images without any other setting changes.
2. Portrait:  It improves the skin tone, color effect and saturation of the image by reducing sharpness of the focus.
3. Landscape: When you are taking snaps of a tree, mountain or etc this mode gives you sharp picture.
4. Neutral: Post processing snaps are taken in this mode.
5. Faithful: Color temperature is adjusted here.
6. Monochrome: Black and white snaps can be taken in this mode.

Verdict:

The Canon EOS 30D is a smart digital SLR camera. It is costlier but worth to prize. Snaps taken are at high-resolution, thus maintaining a great picture quality. Sharp focus, ergonomic design and smart technology gives you best optimum images.
