iPhone 4 Review

Design, Look and Feel:

iPhone 4 is a sleek and compact phone with a new hardware and user interface. This 3G phone has got its front and back sides made of glass, bordered with stainless steel on its sides. Though this shiny glass is somewhat scratch resistant, the phone has a strong built and feels solid in the pockets. There is a front-facing VGA camera with the 5MP main camera lens and a LED flash. The microphone is placed on the top side of the phone. Apple has introduced volume control buttons and a newly shaped mute switched placed below the volume buttons on the side of the iPhone. There are no changes made with the positions of the other dedicated keys and plug-ins. An added feature to all of the above is that iPhone 4 has got a beautiful 3.5 inches retina display screen with ambient light and three axis gyro sensors. This great clubbing allows you to take a closer look of each and everything showcased on it.

Features:

There is a 5 mega pixel main camera with a geotagging feature enabled within it that allows you to click beautiful snaps whilst on move. Also, the music player plays your favorite songs whenever you wish to! Going towards the technical side, EDGE, GPRS, Bluetooth and WiFi are always preinstalled options in all the 3G phones. Apart from this, features like one tap facetime that allows you to enjoy video calling over WiFi, Skype, VoIP and others are also provided by the Apple iPhone 4. One can easily find any location through the GPS maps enabled inside your phone. Also, other applications like push notifications, TomTom, task completion and first app switching works efficiently in the new iPhone 4. As usual, iPhone has always helped all the business heads with its features like enhanced data protection, support for Exchange 2010, wireless app distribution and emails. Furthermore, iPhone 4 has a spell check feature that autocorrects all your texting mistakes and makes messaging and emailing easy for you. Also, the option to expand the phone’s memory up to 32GB offers you with the privilege of carrying all your important files and documents inside a single chip.

Performance:

It is easy to toggle between the apps with the multitasking menu enabled inside the iPhone 4. This menu can be accessed once by double tapping the home button. Moreover, iOS4 works smoothly and also provides an user friendly interface. The A4 processor and a 512MB RAM makes all your work easier and faster. Also, messaging and emailing is easy with the spell-check feature.

The Verdict:

According to me, if you are an iPhone fan, then you must have gone to your nearest shop and bought one for yourself. Most of the fans do that! But this time, I am sorry to say that the phone is not a worth buy unless you are one the members of its fan club. Though the all new looks and features give a bubbly show for its fans, there are some quirks, like unclear call reception and delicate glass attire, that you should consider when you go to shop for this one. Still, if you are fascinated by its looks, buy one and enjoy all way long!
