Kodak ZX1 HD Pocket Video Camera Review

Kodak has come up with a new high definition pocket camera in form of  Zx1. This camcorder records both still images and videos. This Kodak pocket camera is a bit bigger in size yet it is compact. The model easily fits into the pocket. The Zx1 has 2 inch LCD screen. The pocket camera has AA batteries that increase the overall weight of the device. The camera also includes NIMH batteries and a charger. Looks wise, the camcorder is good as well as it feels solid in hand. The camcorder is available in black, yellow, pink, red and blue colors. The well constructed pocket camera is hefty and therefore has a good grip.

The device has a wrist strap and a pouch, which is light weight. This Kodak model is ice, dust and water resistant. The model is rugged but does not work well in extreme cold conditions. The rubber covering helps the user to shoot in drizzle. The device can accept 32 GB memory cards. The internal memory of 30 GB is too small. The memory card is not provided with the model. The user has to buy it separately. The device does not have good USB connectivity. The user needs to connect the model through a separate USB cable to the computer to transfer data in form of videos and images.

The sharpness of the videos is intact when they are viewed on computer screen as well as on television. The videos in low light conditions are not bad either. When the user moves from bright sunlight to darker conditions, the auto focus and exposure are adjusted easily and quickly.
